Our Mission The Elk Grove Police Department Canine Unit was created to help the department with its primary function of providing service to the citizens of the City of Elk Grove. The Canine Unit assists in achieving this goal by promoting an atmosphere of service and safety in the community, utilizing canines in general and specialized patrol to enhance crime prevention, crime suppression, criminal investigations and Police Officer/Citizen protection. We pride ourselves in providing professional, efficient, and courteous public service by creating a safe environment and improving the quality of life for those we serve in an atmosphere of respect, courtesy and integrity. The Elk Grove Police K-9 Association is a Non-Profit tax-exempt public charity recognized under 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax deductible (Tax ID # 11-3777063). |
